This equipment allows to perform spectrophotometric measurements in a wide range of wavelengths without the need to use cuvettes. It only requires a sample volume of 1-2 ul (depending on the type of sample) and also the software associated with the equipment incorporates a series of specific applications for the type of measurement that you want to perform (nucleic acids, proteins at 280 nm, Bradford, Lowry, quantification of fluorescent labels, … etc). Small in size and easy to use, it allows to measure a large number of samples in a short time. The information is transmitted to the computer through a fiber optic cable and the results are obtained in formats that are fully compatible with conventional computer media for storage and handling.
